Eads Broadcasting Corporation Sponsors Virtual Race

Samaritan’s first ever virtual 5K, 10K and half marathon will take place Sept. 10-27 and wouldn’t be possible without support from the community. Eads Broadcasting Corporation is a gold sponsor for the Samaritan Walk Run Roll, donating $2,500 to the cause, and supporting the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation (LCHF).

Eads Broadcasting Corporation is locally owned and manages the KGAL, KSHO and The Action Stream radio stations.

KGAL 1580AM is the mid-Valley’s first news/talk/sports radio station. In addition to CBS Network and local news at the top of the hour, KGAL broadcasts a three-hour local morning update. The best of the nationally syndicated programs is heard every day on KGAL. Catch all your favorite games including the Oregon Ducks, Seattle Seahawks and high school sports. Tune in for special programs on the weekend for home improvement, computer, technology, pet, real estate and travel information. Find more information at www.kgal.com.

KSHO 920AM and 94.1 FM offers a great mix of adult hits including new music, classics, a few oldies and a bit of country. There is not another radio station like it, and it is right in the center of the AM and FM dial. Great personalities will keep you up-to-date and in tune with music. You will always feel at home with KSHO. Listen online at www.ksho.net.

The Action Stream Eads Broadcasting Corporation presents the Valley’s first full-time internet sports radio station. All sports, all the time! The Action Stream also features South Albany High School football and basketball. Listen online at www.willamettevalleysports.com.

“We love our community and enjoy being an active participant in local events,” said Charlie Eads, vice president and general manager of Eads Broadcasting Corporation. “We are excited to sponsor the Samaritan Walk Run Roll and help raise funds for those that need it most.”

Charlie Eads is a long-time board member of the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation.

The $40 entry fee to participate in the race will benefit Samaritan Health Services’ Patient Support Program. Currently, 486 community members are benefiting from this program through assistance with expenses such as medical bills, transportation, prescriptions, nutritional supplements and groceries. In 2019, the program distributed $45,000 in assistance in Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.
