Learn About the COVID-19 Vaccine at Free Webinar on Dec. 17

By the end of 2020 if all goes as expected, Samaritan will begin administering coronavirus vaccine.

While distribution plans for who will receive the initial doses from limited supplies are still being established by the Oregon Health Authority, health care workers, first responders and residents and staff of long-term care facilities are expected to be among the first to be vaccinated. After that, other populations, such as those who are medically at high risk and essential workers are expected to be in subsequent phases until there is enough supply to make the vaccine available to the general public.

How was this vaccine produced so quickly? Is it safe? Will there be side effects?

Learn about the vaccine at a free, virtual event and get your questions answered with Infectious Disease Specialist and Coronavirus Task Force Chair Adam Brady, MD.

When: Thursday, Dec. 17, from noon to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Online via Microsoft Teams Live
