Wall of Hope Will Celebrate Cancer Survivors

To honor cancer survivors, the ArtsCare Program at Samaritan Health Services is collecting photos of cancer survivors to build an art installation that will be called the Wall of Hope.

The Wall of Hope will celebrate survivorship, offering hope and inspiration to individuals currently undergoing cancer treatment. It will be displayed in the Samaritan Radiation Oncology building in Corvallis but may move to other locations later.

If you’ve had your own journey with cancer, you’re encouraged to participate by sending an email to ArtsCare@samhealth.org with the following:

  • Your name and contact information (email and phone number).
  • A photo of your smiling face. NOTE: Please send a high-resolution digital photo (jpeg or tiff).
  • Upon submission of the photo, you will be asked to complete a consent form. This signed consent form gives Samaritan permission to use your photo in our Wall of Hope display and in other areas which may be viewable to the public.
  • Optional: Share a few words of hope and inspiration you want to pass along to others.

In the email, include Wall of Hope in the subject line. Submissions are required by Friday, May 21.
