Terri Nicely, MD, has joined Samaritan Mental Health – Circle Blvd. She specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry.
She earned a bachelor’s degree at University of Pittsburgh and a medical degree from Pennsylvania State College of Medicine. She completed residency training, an internship and fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Nicely has an insatiable love of learning and a strong desire to help others.
“Becoming a doctor seemed like the best vehicle to obtain both intellectual and personal fulfillment while improving the quality of life for those around me,” she said.
Dr. Nicely has a large extended family in the area, and her father grew up in the Willamette Valley. She has fond memories of visiting the family farm in the summer.
“Oregon is such a beautiful and peaceful place,” she said. “It was always my dream to live close to nature and my family.”
Practicing at Samaritan allows her to give back to a community she has felt connected with since childhood.
In her free time, Dr. Nicely enjoys hiking, cycling, photography, listening to podcasts, trying new foods and spending time with her rescue dog.
She is accepting new patients and can be reached by calling Samaritan Mental Health – Circle Blvd. at 541-768-1221.
