Elizabeth “Liz” Varley, DNP, has joined Samaritan Lebanon Health Center. She provides primary care services for people of all ages.
She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Oregon Health & Science University, as well as a doctorate degree in nursing practice.
She was motivated to become a family nurse practitioner after working as an oncology nurse.
“I wanted to focus on preventive medicine and help people to manage chronic diseases,” Varley said.
Establishing a trusting relationship with patients is important to her.
Varley chose Samaritan for its commitment to community, giving back and preparing the next generation of clinicians.
Varley has been living in the Portland area and has traveled all over the Pacific Northwest.
“I believe it is the most beautiful area in the world,” she said. “I hope to explore and find new favorite spots in the Willamette Valley.”
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, skiing, cooking and watching cult movies and television.
She is accepting new patients and can be reached at Samaritan Lebanon Health Center, 541-451-7992.
