Lebanon Celebrates First Baby of the New Year

It was a quick delivery on New Year’s day for the first baby of 2022 at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital for an Albany couple.

“We were very blessed,” said father, Michael Littlefield.

“Everybody was awesome, the doctor was super sweet,” added mother, Olivia Eden.

Elora Lynn Littlefield was born at 6:24 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 1. The healthy girl weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

Littlefield joins a family of four other siblings, two brothers and two sisters.

Elora’s mother is a 2012 Sweet Home High School graduate and her father moved to the Willamette Valley from Pennsylvania.

The couple who are currently living in Albany are hoping to eventually raise their family in the country.

To celebrate Lebanon’s first baby of 2022, Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital presented Littlefield and Eden with a gift basket of care products, toys and a onesie for the newborn.
