Jennifer Broadus, BSN, MBA, has joined Samaritan Albany General Hospital as vice president of patient services. She comes to Samaritan from Salem Health where she served for seven years as the director of clinical operations at West Valley Hospital.
Before starting her leadership journey, Broadus spent nearly 20 years working in various hospital departments including Med-Surg, ED, ICU, inpatient detox, OB, infection prevention, employee health, surgical service, infusion and wound.
“I am most looking forward to learning the Samaritan way and making Albany General Hospital my new family,” said Broadus. “I am used to living and working in the same community, striving to advance quality of health care for all residents. I left a role very similar to this one, so I know how versatile and challenging it can be.”
Broadus is an Oregon native and has lived in the Salem/Dallas area her whole life where she raised her three children. In her free time, she enjoys watersports, traveling, hiking, CrossFit, camping and sports of all kinds. For those wondering if she is a Beaver or Duck fan, she confirmed she is a Beaver fan.
“I am so excited to be in this new role. I look forward to meeting and spending time with you all,” said Broadus.
