Frequently Asked Questions About Working for Samaritan
We operate five hospitals. The largest, Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, is located in Corvallis and is a trauma level 2 facility licensed for 188 beds. Samaritan Albany General Hospital is a 76-bed acute care facility. Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital, Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital and Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital are all Critical Access Hospitals that can operate up to 25 beds.
We have more than 250 affiliated medical providers throughout Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties within our hospitals as well as primary and specialty clinics. All combined, there are more than 4,900 nurses, physicians, employees and volunteers who comprise our team.
We have more than 80 physician clinics located in Albany, Brownsville, Corvallis, Depoe Bay, Lebanon, Lincoln City, Newport, Sweet Home, Toledo and Waldport. We also operate Wiley Creek Community, a 42-acre retirement community in Sweet Home.
We proudly serve approximately 275,000 residents of the central Oregon Coast and mid-Willamette Valley in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and portions of Polk and Marion counties.

We will review your resume and application. Typically one or two initial phone interviews are conducted by the Physician Recruiting office, as well as a clinician or administrator involved in the recruitment. After these phone interviews, Physician Recruiting may be in touch if a site visit is desired.

Follow the above steps to reach the login page. Click on “Forgot User Name or Password” and follow the prompts to reset your password.

7. After registering and completing an application form, you may resubmit your application at a later date. Simply select the position(s) you are applying for, enter your username and password, make any necessary updates to the application and apply.

When you submit your application, you will be prompted to upload your resume and/or cover letter.
Log in to your account and select the “My Account” tab to update your profile information.
Find the specific position on the job board and click “Apply Now,” then “Continue Partial Application.”
If you try to submit an application that is not complete, you will receive an error message notifying you which fields are incomplete or inaccurate. Please fill in any missing information and click “Submit.” If you continue having issues, please contact us at 541-768-5441.
You will receive a confirmation message on the screen that your application has been submitted. You will also receive an email notification.
Your application will be reviewed by the Samaritan Health Services Talent Acquisition team. Successful applications will be forwarded on to the hiring manager for review, and the hiring manager will reach out to candidates selected for an interview.
Candidates selected for interview will typically be notified within seven to 14 days of application, though it may vary.
Managers may receive applications from a number of qualified candidates, and then narrow the interview pool down based on work history, experience, education, and presentation of application, among other criteria. Applicant pools vary for each job. If you are not selected for interview for a specific position, you may apply again in the future.
You will be contacted by phone or email. Please make sure that your phone number and email address are current, that you have an active voicemail on your phone and that you check email and voicemail frequently during your job search. If your phone number or email changes after you submit your application, please notify the Samaritan Health Services Talent Acquisition team at 541-768-5441 or email us to update your application record.
Positions are typically removed from the website when a manager feels that they have an adequate applicant pool. If a position is no longer posted online, we are no longer accepting applications for that particular opening.
You may set up a job agent by logging into your account and clicking on the “Set Up Job Agent Now” link. This will bring up a comprehensive list of all Samaritan Health Services jobs. Place a checkmark next to the jobs you are interested in, and you will receive an email notification when those jobs are posted. Please make sure your email is kept current.

Samaritan Health Services is a drug- and alcohol-free workplace. We conduct post-offer drug screenings on candidates selected for hire. A positive result for the presence of marijuana, whether medical or recreational, will prohibit candidates from employment.
