About Oregon Wine Country

Nestled in the Willamette Valley’s rolling hills are more than 250 wineries producing an array of vintages — Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Riesling to mention a few.

The valley, known as Oregon’s Wine Country, is one of Oregon’s major wine-growing regions.

What started with a handful of wine enthusiasts in the 1960s has blossomed into a region filled with wineries, featuring some of the most prized Pinot Noir in the world.

The valley’s cool climate and long summer days, paired with its fertile soil continues to attract enthusiasts to the area.
