About Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital

Since 1952, this hospital has provided quality health care for residents and tourists throughout a 270-square-mile area in Lincoln County, encompassing the coastal communities of Depoe Bay, Newport, Toledo, Waldport and Yachats.

Through the years, it has expanded to meet the area’s growing medical needs. Now a 25-bed critical access hospital, the most recent hospital expansion opened in phases beginning in January 2019, with final completion scheduled for early October 2020.

The result is a modern, multilevel facility designed for efficient and patient-centered care and offering the latest in medical technology. The hospital now contains most all inpatient and outpatient services, including affiliated medical clinics, under one roof.

Inside this striking new facility, more than 370 employees provide care in a variety of professional, administrative and support positions, ensuring that quality care will continue for decades to come.
