Rotation Opportunities for Medical Students

Samaritan is pleased to be a clinical training site for third and fourth year medical students. We provide medical students with extensive clinical rotation experiences, including unencumbered access to attending physicians, a diverse didactic curriculum and exposure to simulation training.

We will begin accepting rotation requests on Feb. 1, 2025 for rotations beginning in July 1, 2025.

Rotations at Samaritan Health Services are available in a wide variety of primary care and specialty areas and is proud to be involved with medical student training, offering:

• A core clinical site for third- and fourth-year osteopathic medical students from Western University, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.
• A training site for allopathic medical students from Oregon Health & Science University to complete rural health rotations.
• Audition rotation experiences for students interested in our residency training programs.
• Elective rotation opportunities for fourth-year medical students.

Our Psychiatry Residency Program has reached full capacity for the current cycle and is no longer accepting applications for audition rotations. We appreciate the interest from all qualified candidates and thank you for considering our program.
