Opportunities for High School Students

Samaritan Health Services understands that while curiosity is sparked in the classroom, some experiences can only come from time spent in the field. As the local face of world-class care, we are proud to offer Benton, Linn and Lincoln County students the opportunity to explore health care. If you are a local student who is interested in a shadowing opportunity, please complete the Samaritan Job Shadow Application.
Classes who want to take a tour of a Samaritan facility should contact Professional Development. Students participating in a tour will need to sign a Samaritan confidentiality agreement.
Health Occupation students will complete online orientation, which consists of reviewing Samaritan’s policies and trainings, signing a confidentiality statement and providing immunization records before beginning their experience. These steps will be verified by Professional Development.
The clearance process can take up to 30 days to complete. Please plan accordingly; you will not be able to begin your experience until the required steps are completed.
