Program Overview

Samaritan Health Services offers two pharmacy residencies per year. Pharmacy residents can gain experience in anticoagulation, diabetes, oncology and more.

The post-graduate year one pharmacy residency (PGY1) is conducted at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center which is the largest hospital in our system, and is the flagship of the organization. Located in Corvallis, Oregon, Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center is licensed to operate 188 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center. With more than 22 medical specialties located on one campus, Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center offers patients a comprehensive level of care.

Pharmacy services are equally comprehensive. We operate five inpatient pharmacies, four retail pharmacies and a home infusion pharmacy. Additionally, we manage a pharmacist-run anticoagulation program and ESA program, as well as the PGY1 pharmacy residency program. We accept applications via the centralized application system PhORCAS.
