Diabetes & Nutrition Services

If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, pre-diabetes or are interested in learning more about healthy living, we can help you get on the right track.  

Our team of professionals includes nurses and certified diabetes educators who listen and provide guidance based on your wants and needs.

Our services

  • One-on-one counseling – diabetes and/or nutrition
  • Foot clinic with services including toenail trimming and debridement, for people diagnosed with diabetes
  • Metabolic testing
  • Insulin pump therapy
  • Community education

Our classes

We also encourage you to participate in our classes, including:

  • Diabetes Self-Management*: Three-week class
  • Diabetes Prevention: Year long course, registration required
  • Diabetes Support Group: Meets monthly, registration encouraged
  • Type 2 Diabetes: Three-week class
  • Diabetes Education en Español: Bi-monthly class

Our Foot Clinic

Nerve damage, blood flow problems and infections can cause serious foot problems for some people with diabetes, which may result in amputations.

Good foot care is an essential part of diabetes management and prevention. Early detection and proper treatment are the best ways to minimize complications.

At our diabetic foot clinic, trained registered nurses offer the following services:

  • Nail trimming
  • Callus removal
  • Education for foot care
  • Footwear referral

A referral from your physician is required. Call us for more information.
