The SAM is proud to offer MATRIX, a lower extremity group training class focused on functional strengthening and sport-specific training.

About MATRIX: MATRIX is for anyone in the community who has suffered a lower-body injury, including ACL reconstruction. The goal is to teach safe and efficient movement patterns, incorporating sport-specific drills and training for a return to sport activities. The program is broken into three phases to meet the needs of clients and safely progress to higher-level activities. The program is led by sports residency trained physical therapists. This program is ideal for:

  • Individuals recovering from injury, to be used in conjunction with formal rehabilitation
  • Individuals wanting to improve the way they move to stay safe in sport

How to join: Email jneudorfer@samhealth.org to request a MATRIX evaluation. The evaluation will be performed to determine which phase is best for you.

Payment: MATRIX is a cash-based program and is not covered by insurance. Participation in this program does not count against any authorized physical therapy visits.
