The Functional Movement Assessment is a proven movement screening tool that identifies your injury risk. Seven fundamental movement patterns are evaluated to assess mobility, stability and strength. There are 21 total possible points, if the score is 14 or less you may be more likely to incur an injury during your fitness or activity program.

Based on your results, you will be given a personalized corrective exercise program to improve your movement skill and ability. Improving on fundamental movement patterns will strengthen your foundation of movement competency and efficiency, allowing you train more effectively, play more vigorously and prevent injury.
Our return to sport program is designed for athletes who have just completed physical therapy but are not ready for aggressive performance training. Our training approach is designed to properly and safely transition you back to your sport through a comprehensive, personalized training program. Our team works closely with your doctors and physical therapists to determine when you’re ready to return to playing your sport.

The return to sport program includes:
  • Functional movement screening, to establish a baseline of movement competency
  • Gradual implementation of speed, agility and power training
  • Strength training that is focused on the particular demands of your sports

Our athletic programs provide training tailored to each athlete’s needs. A sound exercise program maximizes an athlete’s strengths and minimizes their weaknesses. With a focus on building a strong foundation of speed, strength, and agility, each athlete is prepared for any scenario they encounter in their sport.
Movement quality is essential for optimal athletic performance. Every athlete who trains at our facility is put through a comprehensive movement screen which allows us to determine if the athlete exhibits any instability, asymmetry, or movement dysfunction. From there, a comprehensive training program is then designed to improve movement quality, decrease injury risk and promote superior athletic performance.
