Your Pre-Travel Appointment
Pre-travel counseling is available by appointment. Please schedule your appointment at least one month before planned departure. Please complete the pre-travel form and bring it with you to your appointment.
At your pre-travel appointment, we will review your itinerary and discuss ways to prevent food and water-borne illnesses such as:
- Hepatitis A
- Typhoid fever
- Traveler’s diarrhea
We will also discuss ways to avoid insect-borne illnesses such as:
- Malaria
- Dengue fever
- Yellow fever
- Japanese encephalitis
We will also cover any other endemic bacterial, parasitic or viral infectious unique to your itinerary and administer appropriate vaccinations, including yellow fever. We can also discuss your physical safety and political environment of your destination.
