Preparing to Visit
Visiting Hours
General hospital visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily with the following exceptions:
- Birthing Center: This is a secure unit. To enter, press the intercom button outside the door and speak with a nurse.
- Pediatric patients: Parents may visit at any time and one parent is welcome to stay overnight.
- Intensive Care Unit: Visitation may be limited according to the condition of the patient. Please check with ICU staff prior to visiting.
- Palliative care patients and patients at the end of life: Family members and significant others may visit these patients at any time.
- Patients at end of life: Family members and significant others may visit these patients at any time.
Please note that visitors must be free of illness, such as colds and flu. Visitors under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and may not be left to be cared for by a patient.
We reserve the right to further restrict our visitor policy during times of wide-spread flu or for other public health reasons.

Samaritan Health Services is pleased to offer you and your visitors the following services during your stay at an affiliated hospital:
Sign language and foreign language interpreters
TDD (telecommunication device for the deaf) and assistive listening devices if you have problems hearing others
Large print and talking books for the visually impaired
Closed caption device for television
Special nurse call button for quadriplegic and ventilator patients
Disabled/van parking spaces and handicap accessible bathrooms
