Visitor Restrictions in Effect

To help protect our patients against the flu, Samaritan hospitals currently have visitor restrictions in place, including special restrictions for birthing and pediatric units beginning Jan. 4. Please avoid visiting the hospital facilities if you have a cough, fever, sore throat or body aches. Thank you for your understanding.

Visiting Hours

General hospital visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily with the following exceptions:

  • Birthing Center: This is a secure unit. To enter, press the intercom button outside the door and speak with a nurse.
  • Pediatric patients: Parents may visit at any time and one parent is welcome to stay overnight.
  • Intensive Care Unit: Visitation may be limited according to the condition of the patient. Please check with ICU staff prior to visiting.
  • Palliative care patients and patients at the end of life: Family members and significant others may visit these patients at any time.
  • Patients at end of life: Family members and significant others may visit these patients at any time.

Please note that visitors must be free of illness, such as colds and flu. Visitors under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and may not be left to be cared for by a patient.

We reserve the right to further restrict our visitor policy during times of wide-spread flu or for other public health reasons.
