Samaritan Employee Caring Campaign
The Employee Caring Campaign Is Making a Difference
Thank you to the Samaritan employees who gave to our hospital foundations and local United Way agencies last year.
If you have any questions about your Samaritan Foundations contribution, please contact your local foundation office toll free at 844-768-4256 or email SHSFoundations@samhealth.org.

How You Can Give
Because 100% of your gift goes directly to the fund that you designate, you can be confident that your tax-deductible gift is being used to make the greatest difference possible.
Donating by credit card?
Click the “Donate via Credit Card” button below, then click on the local hospital foundation to which you would like to donate. On the hospital foundation page, please scroll to the bottom of the page to fill out the donation form and input your credit card information. You will also be able to choose which fund you would like to support at this time.
Thinking about donating paid time off?
The cash value of your paid time off (PTO) will be added to and then subtracted from your gross pay in the first pay period of 2023. Payroll taxes for PTO will be deducted from your paycheck at the same time, which means the amount of the taxes is the only amount deducted from your paycheck.

Examples of Your Gifts at Work
$5 per pay period ($130 total) can provide a focused ArtsCare session for patients by specially trained artists and musicians. The presence of art and music in health care settings positively impacts the physical and emotional well-being of patients, visitors and staff.
$10 per pay period ($260 total) can cover a prescription medication, food or transportation assistance for a patient in need.
$30 per pay period ($780 total) can help a co-worker experiencing a financial crisis through the Samaritan Employee Emergency Program.
$40 per pay period ($1,040 total) can fund a new piece of medical equipment for a hospital department or clinic and qualifies for Samaritan Society membership (our recognition club for donors of $1,000 or more).
