With cancer, having reliable resources to turn to is important for patients, caregivers and loved ones.

Community Outreach

Outreach programs through the Samaritan Cancer Program are designed to: 

  • Promote community awareness of cancer prevention and early detection
  • Educate the public of cancer risks and screening recommendations
  • Provide free screening clinics
  • Promote community awareness of all cancers
  • Collaborate with community partners on public health issues
  • Connect un- or under-insured individuals with prevention services
  • Identify unmet needs in our community as they relate to cancer prevention
  • Educate the community about services available through Samaritan Cancer Resource Centers
