Providing Cancer Support

From the day of your diagnosis and onward, you are considered a cancer survivor. Your loved ones are called co-survivors. We are here to support you and your co-survivors in what can be a challenging time, with numerous resources. 

  • Salon stocked with wigs, headdresses and hats.
  • Healing gardens.
  • Stress management through yoga for cancer, caregivers self-care, art therapy and mind-body workshops.
  • Connection.
  • Cancer information libraries with books and CDs available for check-out.
  • Online access to Samaritan’s health library. 
  • Knowledgeable and friendly staff who will keep your information needs private.
  • A calendar full of classes.
  • Education and outreach within the community.
  • Free consultation with a dietitian.
  • Support groups.
  • Referrals to local services and resources.
  • Cancer survivor networking opportunities.
  • Linking you to the support of professional: chaplains, dietitians, medical insurance specialists, pharmaceutical counselors, social workers or counselors.
