Electrophysiology

Samaritan Heart Center – Electrophysiology

A healthy heart beats in a regular, even pattern. Heart rhythm problems (known as heart arrhythmias) happen when the electrical pulses in your heart that coordinate your heartbeats don’t work properly, causing your heart to beat too fast, too slow or in a pattern that is not regular.

Some people may be born with abnormal heart rhythm, while others may develop this with age. Whatever the cause, we can help. Every step of the way, from diagnosis to treatment to follow-up care, we provide advanced electrophysiology (care for the electrical pulses in the heart) therapy for heart rhythm problems.

With state-of-the-art technology and outreach clinics in Albany, Lebanon, Lincoln City and Newport, quality follow-up care is offered close to home.
