The Samaritan Cancer Resource Center in partnership with the ArtsCare program is offering Creating Hope, an art workshop series offered in a virtual setting. Each virtual event is hosted by professional ArtsCare artists, and is designed for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. Creating Hope embraces the ArtsCare vision of promoting the physical and emotional well-being of patients and caregivers through the presence of art and music.
Creating Hope is offered the second Wednesday of each month, with each virtual event focusing on a different activity for participants to enjoy.
No art experience is required, only a willingness to experiment and have fun!
Sessions are free of charge. Participants are asked to obtain their own supplies. Supplies will be inexpensive and easy to obtain. A supply list will be provided after registering online.
