Please Note: This seminar is being offered at two different times on Monday, Nov. 18:

  • 2 to 3:30 p.m.  or
  • 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Both seminars will contain the same content and are open to all.

When your back causes you pain, everything can be a struggle. Learn to help your back with some basic understanding of body mechanics and simple exercises.

"Back for the Future: Keeping Your Spine in Line Now and for Infinity” is a free seminar being held on Monday, Nov. 18, at the Center for Health Education, 740 SW Ninth St., Newport. Choose the afternoon session from 2 to 3:30 p.m. or the evening event from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and learn how to take care of your spine for life!

Three health professionals will share the tools they recommend for helping you prevent back pain today and into the future.

Facilitators include:

  • Jason Brown, certified physician assistant at the Samaritan Toledo Clinic
  • Jennifer Miller, physical therapist with Samaritan Physical Rehabilitation-Newport
  • Holly Romero, certified personal trainer and experienced-registered yoga teacher with Little Fish Yoga in Newport.

Together, they will help you prevent back pain by finding your neutral spine and learning exercises that improve mobility and stability and correct posture and body mechanics.
