Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives.

Skills covered in this course include:

  • first aid
  • choking relief in adults, children, and infants
  • what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants

This class is offered on Saturdays at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a two year certification card. Class time frame includes a half-hour lunch break, however lunch is not included.
