Teen boy receives a vaccination shot in his right arm from a male provider.

In kids and teens, COVID-19 often causes only mild illness or infection with no noticeable symptoms, though young people may experience more severe illness and hospitalization or, in rare cases, death. Now that the coronavirus vaccine is available to youths ages 12 and over, many parents and young people are wondering about vaccination, with questions such as:

  • How does COVID-19 affect children?
  • Should my child get the coronavirus vaccine?
  • What are the possible side effects of the vaccine in young people?

Parents and youths with questions about the COVID-19 vaccine can join this free webinar and question and answer session with Pediatrician Eddie Frothingham, MD, and Infectious Disease Specialist Adam Brady, MD
