The WISH Giving Circle

A giving circle is a form of participatory philanthropy where a group of individuals donate their own money or time to a pooled fund, then decide together what projects to invest in. Throughout the process, the group seeks to increase their awareness of and engagement in the issues covered by the circle.

The Women Investing in Samaritan Health (WISH) Giving Circle focuses on collaboration, empowerment and learning. As a member, you will join a passionate group of women who are pooling their resources to make a difference and create a legacy. The women of WISH pool their annual membership dues and donations and then invest those funds in Samaritan health care and patient programs that benefit local women and children.

WISH participants develop fund distribution criteria, investigate projects firsthand, and award funds personally with the help of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation. The group also hosts a series of informational and social events throughout the year to educate and inspire members of the Giving Circle, the community and Samaritan Health Services.
