Zach is a life-long learner and lover of sports who is pleased to join the Samaritan Athletic Medicine team as a Sports Physical Therapy Resident. He recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), where he also engaged in sports medicine research and in several community outreach programs.
Zach’s approach to physical therapy combines proven scientific methods and effective communication. He believes that all individuals deserve to live a pain-free, physically active lifestyle.
Zach has been pursuing a career in sports physical therapy since being introduced to the occupation in high school. He grew up playing soccer and several other sports in the Seattle area. He loves being outdoors, especially in the Pacific Northwest, and gained an appreciation for the complexity of the human body at a relatively young age.
When he isn’t working with patients at the clinic or studying sports medicine, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife and his dog.
