Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Jeanette moved to the West Coast in 1979 to attend college, where she was a part of Pepperdine University’s equestrian team. After suffering an injury riding horses, and experiencing extensive therapy over the next several months as a result, Jeanette decided to go back to school to receive a second degree in occupational therapy.
She is married with two children, a daughter and a son who suffers from autism. In her free time, Jeanette enjoys riding her horse with her daughter, Zumba and volunteering for families who have children with autism.
