Kaitlyn comes to the Samaritan Athletic Medicine team from the San Francisco Bay area. She completed a post-doctorate Sports Physical Therapy Residency program at The Ohio State University, where she worked with the men’s club rugby team and served as a strength and conditioning specialist for a local high-school swim program.
She specializes in biomechanical analysis and believes that optimal movement patterns are critical for athletic success and injury prevention regardless of sport or age.
Kaitlyn also serves as a mentor in Samaritan Athletic Medicine’s Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program, which fosters the development of high-quality, specialized sports medicine providers. She has a passion for teaching and education, and incorporates education, injury prevention and sports performance concepts into her patient treatment programs.
Kaitlyn played Division I water polo for the University of California, Davis, and has a special interest in treating overhead throwing athletes and competitive swimmers.
