Dr. Simpson is a pulmonologist specializing in treating respiratory conditions and caring for critically ill and injured patients. She performs bronchoscopy, which is used to diagnose diseases of the lungs, as well as general lung and critical care procedures.
Before attending medical school, she volunteered at a veterans’ hospital where she observed clinicians meeting with patients and families during times of anxiety and uncertainty. Those experiences inform her approach to patient care as she works to provide comfort in times of duress.
In her free time, Dr. Simpson appreciates spending time in nature, hiking, camping, reading and being with family.
