Dr. Toggart joined Samaritan from the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System in California, where he practiced interventional cardiology. He also was an assistant professor of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA and has more than 15 years experience working in private practice.
Dr. Toggart is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He specializes in invasive and interventional cardiology and boasts a wealth of research and practical experience. As an investigator on numerous research trials and grants, Dr. Toggart is well published and has written extensively on cardiology-related research.
In his free time, Dr. Toggart enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking, biking and water sports.
