- Dr. Welch-Pemberton serves patients of Samaritan Heart Center. Utilizing motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, she helps patients with behavioral risk factors for heart disease including smoking cessation, increasing physical activity, stress management, depression, anxiety, and coordination of additional supportive services. She also treats problems that may arise in the wake of heart-related conditions including traumatic reactions, adjustment to new illness, managing new treatment requirements, depression and anxiety.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, music and traveling.
