Dr. Wood specializes in cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.
He manages all stages of heart failure, providing advanced therapies, such as transplant and left ventricular assist devices for patients suffering from end stage heart failure. He uses pulmonary artery pressure sensor devices, which have been shown to improve quality of life by reducing heart failure hospitalizations.
Dr. Wood first worked as a mechanical engineer, but he changed careers because he wanted to have more personal interactions. He enjoys getting to know his patients.
Away from the office, he enjoys road cycling, hiking, cooking, camping and spending time with family.
