Brenda provides obstetric care to low-risk patients, as well as contraception, family planning counseling and health screenings to teen and adult women.
As a hospital-based midwife, Brenda feels it is a luxury to be able to offer women not only natural childbirth support techniques, but pain medications if they’re needed. She sees her role as a support person, helping to guide women and couples through the labor and birth process, allowing them to make choices as to what they desire for their experience.
In her free time, Brenda enjoys reading, shopping, taking walks, gardening and exploring wineries, brew pubs and new restaurants. She is happy to be in Newport, where she plans to learn about the ocean, crabbing, fishing, kayaking, hiking and boating.

Brenda (my midwife) is one of the best providers at Samaritan. If it wasn't for her I'd be seeking care elsewhere.
